Who are we?

The akro application is published by AKRO, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 990 407 553, with its registered office located at 5 place Boulnois, 75017 Paris, France.

AKRO SAS is the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our mission is to enable users to discover, share and interact around music recommendations.

Data collected

We collect the data necessary for the operation of the application, the security of the service, product improvement and, where necessary, with your consent:

• Email address or phone number, for authentication
• Display name, username, date of birth and profile picture
• Content you publish in the app: posts, photos, comments, likes, groups, interactions and music recommendations
• Data related to your relationships in the app: friends, group members, invitations and social interactions
• Feedback or bug reports you send us
• Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, error logs, diagnostic information and data necessary for debugging
• App usage data: screens viewed, actions performed, features used, product events and technical or pseudonymized identifiers, in particular via Mixpanel
• Push notification tokens, if you agree to receive notifications

Some akro features may require access to permissions on your device.

• Contacts: to help you find your close contacts more easily on akro, if this feature is enabled
• Photos or camera: to add or edit your profile picture, or to publish content when the feature allows it
